Jeremie / 33 years old / Musician

Lydie / 31 years old /  Singing

I am not very good at bodybuilding (my supersonic shrimp arms scare only goldfish) but I have a passion for music, video games and movies also. But is the love of God that guides my life! ps: Sausage is however super good!

What was the best or the most important day of your life?

I will not speak of the exact day, but rather of the moment when I responded to the call of God in my heart. In that moment everything that constitutes my happiness today flowed into my life: my wife, my children, my ministry…

If you were a song from your last album, what would it be? Why?

” Mission” without hesitation…The words of this song resonate in my life every day. They truly represent the wild life that we have when we follow God’s desire for our lives…

Do you prefer tea or coffee?

Uh…Pardon…What’s tea?

If you had a magic wand, what would you change in the world…?

haha…I would transform every bad hearted person into a “Goomba” (small villain mushrooms in the Mario game) then I would jump on them, and they would all become flat and very straight.. An imaginary question with an imaginary reply hehe…

What is your most embarrassing moment that you don’t like to talk about?

I still struggle to get over this, even after a few years…having failed the punching ball at the fun fair in front of everyone! Not once but twice! Got zero points two times, I assure you it hurts…

What is your biggest challenge?

That my children know Jesus…To be a good father and husband, a good musician and also be invested in my church. It is all about balance and it is not easy to set up every day as we would like!

What is your biggest dream?

That my children know Jesus…Oh no I just said that right? That my family be a positive example and influence in their environment…

When we see the misfortune of others, my only wish is to be able to reach out to them wherever we go and to testify to the love of God.

What book did you enjoy reading this year?

What have I enjoyed reading this year? let’s see…ah I have a lot of trouble remembering the tittles of books. If it’s video games and movies, I hardly have any memory problems. I’ll say “Bono: in conversation” by Michka Assayas (actually, I read this book last year). It’s very revealing about the events that forged the U2 band. I liked the fact that Bono shared his heart, his sincerity, his inner questioning and his spiritual path! It’s also interesting to know that even if we’re a superstar, we still go through doubtful moments…

I am not a good cook, but I love to garden and breathe in the delicious smell of cow manure…also I am passionate about song, music, dance, but above all, sharing the name of the One who has infiltrated my heart: JESUS!

What was the best or the most important day of your life?

The day I understood that God was alive and that He was available to me. His love surpassed what I understood or imagined. My life radically changed that day.

If you were a song from your last album, what would it be? Why?

I will say ” To him who can do” because it gives me courage and shows me that anything is possible to him who believes. There is no limit.

Do you prefer tea or coffee?

Even though I should say the opposite for my health, I am a coffee person. That said, I enjoy sipping a good cup of tea from time to time to transport myself back to England, where I used to live a few years ago.

If you had a magic wand, what would you change in the world…?

I would change the mentality of those who believe they’re all powerful and are destroying themselves little by little…. I would put love for others in their hearts, instead of hatred, humility instead of pride…That would already be enough change.

What is your most embarrassing moment that you don’t like to talk about?

Well, uh…how can I share this if it’s my most embarrassing moment? I will not mention it here lol… I won’t tell you that one day, after some very nasty food poisoning, I ended up collapsing on the floor in a London metro, surrounded by people who were worried, both because I fainted, as well as the fact that I was releasing a very strong and nauseating smell… I will not give anymore details. I will leave it to your overflowing imagination to write the rest.

What is your biggest challenge?

To be a good wife to my husband, and a good mother to my daughters and to go after all my dreams without forgetting myself…The task is hard but the heart is there…God does the rest…

What is your biggest dream?

Go as far as possible to positively influence the world around me, May my life be useful to others in a meaningful way.

What book did you enjoy reading this year?

” Live, love and become” by Brian Houston, the founder of the Hillsong Church in Australia, an incredibly inspiring book that gave me ambition and a recharge to go even further. Not to stop on my journey!
